I can't sing, but...
Well I was off work sick on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm feeling a bit better now, although I still have Bronchitis and a little bit of a head cold. Sudafed is keeping the head cold under control.
Saw this at the beginning of the week: ewwww!.
Cossmass has finally started moving properly. Although it looks like I may have to convert what was to be a PC into an NPC as they player has yet to post a single comment in the game. Hopefully I'll find out on Sunday what the problem is, it could be a simple lack of Internet access this week.
I've slipped behind again with my Reading List. I had been reading two Pratchett's back-to-back. Thief of Time and Night Watch. ToT took me a week, which is good as I have schedule of two weeks per book. However NW took me nearly five weeks. I can't even remember why I got distracted and put it down and didn't pick it up again.
So now I'm onto the next book, Return to Mars.
I didn't get any productive writing done on Tuesday other than that day's Cossmass post. I tried tackling the next scene for Last One but the pain in my intestines (I think I must have eaten some Gluten on Monday) was to much of a distraction. What I did end up writing was utter trash. Go back and try again.
I'm also supposed to be 'singing' for the Dramatic Society's Cabaret fund raiser in mid-July. Note that I can not sing. I really, really can not sing. So one suggestion was 'I Was Born Under A Wandering Star'. Possibly spoken, in a posh voice. Another suggestion, if I had the enunciation for it, was 'I Am The Very Model Of A Model Major General' from Gilbert & Sullivan. Also suggested was 'Thank Heaven for Little Girls' sung in a 'allo 'allo style french accent. Some of the girls offered to do a dance in the background in school uniforms.
Good luck on your performance.
