del.icio.us Bookmarks 1.4.27 (February 26, 2007)
- "Most Visited" now counts regular page visits, not just clicks on bookmarks
- more robust backup of bookmarks on install
- Clicking "Restore Defaults" while updating no longer causes Bundle titles to disappear
- New option to truncate excessively long notes instead of warn (can be accessed by saving a bookmark with a note > 255 characters)
- Fix bug where RSS reader preferences were being overridden
- Livemarks now have 'reload' option
Just installed a new module that allows me to add nodes for each of my books. I'm looking to find a way to automate my reading lists. What I don't want to do is flood the front page of the site as I add new books.
What you will probably have seen already were entries for two books I received yesterday. (This is where I try linking to these new book entries.)
The del.icio.us add-in for Firefox replaces the bookmarking features with an continually synchronised copy of my del.icio.us bookmarks. The del.icio.us bookmark toolbar is one of it's best features.
Now Firefox automatically detects RSS and Atom feeds in a page and adds the
to the end of the address bar. Clicking on it allows you to handily subscribe through a selection of readers.
Unknown Number: Mate, will you be coming to the wedding? We havent had a reply yet and we need to know numbers! Hope things are ok?
Me: Congratulations. I'd love to if you tell me the date.... and who you are. Don't know the number you sent from.
Unknown Number: Bobby? Its Ben
Me: Sorry. I'm Paul. Guess you've got the wrong number. Congratulations nonetheless.
Tonight is the second recording session for Estalvin's Legacy. This session is the big one where we have just over 20 pages to record in an hour and a half.
What is Estalvin's Legacy? It is the title of my first, of hopefully many, Podcast audio dramas. Episode 1, Into The Cossmass, is the script I've been 'polishing' for over a year now.
Most of my free time at the moment is being spent looking for bed music and SFX. There are quite a few different sites to search. Some more useful than others. The less useful ones don't offer their content under a Creative Commons. Others are merely the results of a trawl of audio files found on the net with no licensing, tags or descriptions.
I was late in the season for this, but I had my flu-jab yesterday. Now I've just gotten home from work with a raw and running nose. I won't be back at work today.
At least I will be able to spend the time beginning to edit some of the audio from last night's first recording session.
Old news, I know. About a month ago Adobe released an official Linux version of Flash 9 for Linux.
While looking for graphics to use in site design I came across these on NASA's APOD.
Back from the doctors. Finally went back after the sharp stabbing pain in my left foot started up again. I've had my mind put at ease that it isn't a blood clot, which had been my biggest fear. Scary things blood clots. So glad it isn't that. Probably just a trapped or pinched nerve. I've requested an appointment with a Podiatrist.
No don't anyone get your hopes up. I mean that my loaner Firefly DVD has finally returned home after a year and a half. Unfortunately there is nothing to show for the extended vacation as it was never even watched.
I already have a queue forming up behind me wanting to borrow it again.
