Pieces of April

I do occasionally watch films that aren't in the genre of science fiction or fantasy. Admittedly it isn't very often, unless it's a comedy.

WordPress Development Blog - 2.0.1 Release

I've been puting off upgrading to WP2 due to some of the plugins I use not being compatible. Time to have another look and see if they've been upgraded yet.

I finally got to the end of the first draft of my current writing project. I've been, and still am, writing an Audio Play. I now have the first episode written. It isn't long, only 26 pages of script. Now I get the joys of editing and re-writing it. But I get to intersperse that with plotting out in more detail the following episodes. This is much easier and more fun now that I have the foundation that is the first episode to build from.

 Evolution

Let's not beat around the bush.

This morning I found my wing-mirror spider had opened a frozen food department. It was a shame to remove it.

I was at funeral this afternoon. While I was rushing about this morning getting ready for work, I simply could not find my black tie.

Not surprisingly, when I got home and sat down. Not four feet away, sitting neatly folded on the shelf below my stereo, was my tie. Naturally, the shelf below the stereo wasn't someplace where I thought to look for a tie. It isn't as though I keep many clothes there, never mind a tie.

I had an idea this morning while making breakfast about what I wanted to write a post about. Now that I am actually in front of the computer and ready to write - I can't remember a thing about it. I can remember where I was standing, what I was doing, the thought 'I'll write a post on that', but that's it. The actual subject is gone. It'll come back to me, but probably when I'm nowhere near the computer again.

Sitting in the middle of Buchanan Street, Glasgow. It's paint looks kind of tatty up close unfortunately.

I was at a training course in Glasgow last Tuesday. Boring. Aimed more at someone who hadn't designed a GUI interface before. The power-cut half-an-hour in the the afternoon session was a blessed release.

What does tomorrow bring? Other than another early morning train to Glasgow? Another trip to Borders and Waterstones probably.

I'm going to try and get a picture of the Tardis outside Borders this time.
