Tired, so, so, tired. I was fine till I ate lunch. And I'm running a game tonight. Arghhzzzz....

Here is [LJ:slybelski]'s interview of me.

1) If you could hear any piece of music performed live, a. What would it be, and b. Who would perform it?

Barber's Adagio for Strings, by Metallica. Two utterly different styles. To hear Metallica, play such a heart rending piece of music, would be amazing. I don't doubt that they could do it, it would be recognisable as Barber's Adagio, and yet clearly be Metallica, whilst loosing none of the emotional weight of the original piece.

Just heard this on the ClassicFM Evening Concert. It is amazing. As soon as I'm putting money into my DVD/CD budget again, I'll be getting a copy of this.

[LJ:slybelski], I just had a look at the amazon.com page, and it lists Norah Jones' Come Away with Me under 'Customer who bought this title also bought:'.

Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread. I'm starving, but can't eat the bread yet, it's too damn hot.

Finally got postfix to start sending out emails. I went through some of the basic settings with webmin and stated what domains were what, rather than rely on any supposed default behaviour.

Right. I'm of to bed now, before I break anything else.

I've had a look at my postfix installation and found that I've got mail stuck in the outgoing queue since Wednesday. I don't send too many emails from home, so I didn't really notice a problem. One or two people hadn't responded to the emails. I figured they were taking their time to make a careful and considered reply. No. If anything, that's what they thought I was doing.

Now I just need to resolve the problem with the DNS name resolver and I can clear the queue and everyone will be happy as bunnies.

I don't think my dinner agreed with me. My stomach has been churning all evening. If this doesn't get better by tomorrow I may have to cancel going to [LJ:scimon]'s game in Friday.

Which would be a waste, as he said he was going to do some prep for this week. I need to get some prep done aswell, my Traveller campaign starts up again on Monday evening. How exactly to you follow having the players accidentally steal a ringworld, complete with it's sun? It involves Hivers and Pocket Universes.

Deck of Cards: $1.29.

"101 Solitaire Variations" book: $6.59.
Finding a cheaper replacement for the one thing Windows is ideal for: priceless

Nuts! My ADSL router appears to have died. I'm at work and I can't ping it. If you got an email telling you about my new email address - ignore it for now.

There's bugger all I can do about this till I get home. Stupid thing probably just needs rebooted. It shouldn't need this. It should just work!!

I've decided that I'm going to save the Harry Potter book, Order of the Phoenix, till September and read it during my flights to and from the states. The first four books were a very easy read. Real page turners. Hopefully this one will be the same and will keep me distracted from my destination during the flight. I know, not much chance of that.
