You may be on a social binge. There’s nothing wrong with this, but even if you have an active party schedule, try to fulfill your responsibilities. No matter how interested you are to be with friends, there is conflict with another part of you that doesn’t want to disperse your own energy wider than you need to.
I think I'm back on the coffee. I'm on my fifth or sixth cup today. I haven't really been counting. Hot sweet goodness.

I had my Flu Jab this morning. I spent more time taking my two jackets and jumper off, and rolling up my sleeve, then putting it all back on again, that I did in the waiting room. I don't like the cold too much. You think I'd be used to it living in Scotland. The nurse said my arm might hurt around the point of the injection, but I felt fine at the time, so thought nothing of it. Now I have a very faint ache in my upper arm.
Seeing [LJ:raithen]'s quote on Writer's Block from Joss Whedon -- All Hail The Great Lord Whedon -- I thought I would dig out some quotes on writing and writers. Hopefully something here will inspire. Certainly a few should amuse.

You may be less sure about what you should do next than you have been. Normally, you live your life in a relatively straightforward manner. You are going in the direction you are going. And that is that. But now you may have to fake it for a couple of days while you grapple with uncertainty.
Last night we had the photos taken for the program for The Lion in Winter. We are getting close. As of last night, we go on stage in two weeks. As soon as I can get a copy of any of the photos I'll be sure to post them here for you all to see.
Woke up this morning with a touch of the sniffles. They appear to have gone away again. Hopefully it is just the last dieing struggles of my last cold. I get a Flu jab tomorrow morning so that should allow me to relax a bit. I had meant to go earlier but caught the cold so I have had to wait for it to clear up.

Even if it is a holiday day for you, it’s tough to let go of what you need to do. Sure, you’ll be ready to celebrate later, but first the practical things need attention. If you don’t take care of them early in the day, you really won’t be able to enjoy yourself--and what’s more important than enjoying yourself on a holiday?
